Light snacks will be provided and food will be available for order, but we recommend eating dinner prior to the party. We will be at Ruschmeyer's for the whole evening, so join us whenever you arrive (even if it's after 8pm)!

All guests should plan to arrive at Navy Beach by 5:00pm.

Shuttles will be provided for guests staying at the Royal Atlantic and Montauk Manor, making pickups at each location at 4:30pm and 4:45pm sharp.

Dress Code: Cocktail

Ladies, note that the ceremony & parts of the reception will take place on the beach (rocky sand) so plan your footwear accordingly and/or bring flats as backup.

Travel
Getting to Montauk

Planes: Montauk is at the eastern tip of Long Island; you can fly into JFK, LGA or ISP.

Trains: The Long Island Railroad (LIRR) runs to Montauk from New York Penn Station. Guests flying to JFK can take the AirTrain to Jamaica and connect to Montauk-bound trains. Please note service changes that may require transferring to a bus in Patchogue depending on day/time of travel.

The Hampton Jitney is a bus option. The Jitney offers Airport Connection stops to/from JFK, LGA and ISP ( connect via taxi/Uber).

Automobiles: For guests driving to Montauk, estimate driving time on Google Maps.

...and Boats: For guests traveling from New England, there are 2 ferry options from New London, CT.
-The Viking Fleet offers direct service for passengers only (no cars).
-The Cross Sound Ferry accommodates vehicles and travels between New London and Orient Point, NY. From Orient, it is a ~1.5 hour drive to Montauk. There is also a ferry route via Shelter Island that requires 2 ferries + driving. If you are interested in the latter, see schedules for North Ferry (Greenport to Shelter Island) and South Ferry (Shelter Island to North Haven).

Hotel Blocks: We have 2 hotel blocks held.

-Montauk Manor: Call 631-668-4400 and mention the Do/Forsythe wedding; there are a few rooms left at discounted rates.

-Royal Atlantic: Call Chris at 631-668-5103 x4407 or email chrisk@royalatlantic.com Mon-Fri, 8a-5p; mention the Do/Forsythe wedding to book rooms with a 10% discount off standard rates.

Other Hotels: Use sites like Booking.com to find other hotel options nearby.

House Rentals: For larger groups, there are rental options on VRBO/HomeAway or Airbnb - if you need input on options, send us a note at hello@mimiandjon.com!
